Baseball team 33-game winning streak leads to GSAC win and Region 19 Championship!

baseball player at batbaseball team wins region 19 championshipAfter an incredible season and hard-fought post-season, the Dukes baseball team is headed to the NJCAA World Series in Tennessee!

Cumberland County College hosted the Final Four portion of playoffs, but with the rain on Monday, May 22, they had to move the game to Aston, PA MSI Sports Village. The change in time and location didn't slow down the Dukes. They triumphed over Northampton 6-4. 

The Dukes baseball team ended their regular season on May 7 and won the Garden State Athletic Conference. They moved into playoffs as the #1 seeded team. The team had an incredible 33-game winning streak during their 47-5 record.

The first round of playoffs took place on Sunday, May 14 after being postponed from Saturday’s rain. #8 Lehigh Carbon beat #9 Bergen to move on and face the Dukes. The Dukes then ended game one of the three game series with the 10 run rule in the sixth inning. The Dukes ended the series on Monday, May 15 by winning 12-4. They will moved on to the Final Four, and took the win.
