Planned Giving

Cumberland County College Foundation

Some gifts require special planning. These planned gifts can allow a donor to make a significant gift to Cumberland County College, generate a charitable income-tax deduction, and reduce estate and gift taxes:

Real Estate: Gifts of residential and investment property or undeveloped land offer charitable deductions to the donor and often an avoidance of capital gains taxes.
Tangible Personal Property: Gifts of art objects, antiques, jewelry, collections, or other valuable assets offer charitable deductions to the donor and often an avoidance of capital gains taxes. The value of these gifts is determined by independent expert appraisers.
Life Insurance Policies: Donors may use life insurance as a means of supporting Cumberland County College.
Bequest: Estate planning can save significant taxes. A bequest that names Cumberland County College as a beneficiary is fully tax-deductible for federal estate tax purposes.

All planned gifts are recognized through the Visions Society.  Click here for the Visions Society Brochure
