Summer Academy For Kids

We would like to welcome each family to a new and exciting summer. In this our 8th year of Summer Academy we will continue to provide students with a safe and unique experience. The Summer Academy for Kids provides educational, motivational, and recreational experiences for student’s ages 5-16 years old.

It has been said that “the best way to help children grow, is to expose them to new and exciting experiences,” and we know Summer Academy for Kids can help do that. We invite you to look at our schedule and description of classes and make Summer Academy for Kids part of your summer plans.

Summer Academy for Kids will be held in the Fine and Performing Arts Center again this year. Our offices are located in the lower level of the Academic Building. Main Number: 856-691-8600. The Director of Summer Academy for Kids will be located at the Fine and Performing Arts Center when camp starts.

Summer Academy for Kids still has openings but we are no longer able to accept online registrations now that camp has started. You can still register by fax (856-696-2417) or stop by the office on campus. We will take registrations throughout the summer as long as there is space for new campers. Our application can be downloaded on this site. If you have already registered your child, you can view his/her schedule by logging into the I.R.I.S. system. You'll need both the student ID and the password you established to view the account. Don't forget to change terms and pick summer camp.

If you have any questions, call our offices at 856-691-8600 Extension 338

Mission statement
The mission of the Professional and Community Education (P.A.C.E) department of Cumberland County College is to provide affordable and accessible educational experiences in a positive environment aligning academic, career and personal success with lifelong learning to the Cumberland County community.

Class Selection
Each week, you may choose from a selection of classes in the morning and in the afternoon. Please use the course name when filling out the registration form. If you require either before and/or after care, please check the appropriate area on the registration form. We always urge parents to sign up early for classes to ensure that the children will get into the classes they want most.

Limited Space
Only a limited number of spaces are available in each class. Applicants will be accepted and registered on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date their completed applications are received, including required documentation. Applications will be accepted until all spaces are filled. If a qualified camper cannot be accommodated because all spaces have been filled, his or her name will be entered on a waiting list.
