Telecourses will provide you with an education that is equivalent to what you would have learned in a traditional classroom course. These courses are conducted utilizing video broadcasted through cable television. Students are able to record these video programs at home and watch at their convenience. Additionally, students have the option to view or borrow these video programs at the College Library or rent them from a third-party vendor.There are FIVE required meetings on-campus. At these meetings students will obtain valuable information, submit assignments, or take exams. Telecourses are listed with course section numbers 50 to 54.The same as a traditional face-to-face course, students are required to study the assigned materials, participate in discussions, complete assignments, and take exams. Some students may require the structure of a traditional course, therefore, students are encouraged to visit their advisors to determine if these courses are for them.

Tele course programs will air every week on Channel 9 through the local cable company. Those that would have difficulty viewing their tele courses from home may view or borrow the video programs from the College Library.
Note: Some tele course programs are only available on VHS tapes.
