Charles LaPalme is a professor of Business Studies, and Department Head, at Cumberland County College. Professor LaPalme has spent his Business career in numerous cross-discipline professional assignments (Sales, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, etc,) with several of America’s top 100 Corporations, before starting his entrepreneurial pursuits with two successful ventures.

After arriving at Cumberland County College in 2009, Professor LaPalme started and advises the Business & Finance Club; the Alpha Beta Gamma Honor Society and the community Business Advisory Board.

Professor LaPalme is a certified “Project Jump Start” Facilitator and Instructor. He established the Cumberland County College Entrepreneurial Advisory Board and implemented BU122, a course designed for emerging entrepreneurs.  Professor LaPalme is a dedicated entrepreneur who implemented a support system to help local entrepreneurs succeed. 

Professor LaPalme was born and raised in Massachusetts and spent his corporate career in Northern New Jersey and New York City. His entrepreneurial businesses were in the Princeton, NJ, area where he still resides.

As a product of the community college system, he is now giving back to students by integrating his previous successful professional and personal experiences into an active business and contemporary curriculum, meeting the specific needs of our students, and the businesses which reside in the County.
