A member of the Student Services Division at Cumberland County College since 1980, Steve has held a number of faculty, counselor/advisor and administrative positions.  Presently he coordinates transfer services.  He directed the Advisement, Transfer and Career Services Office, Student Activities, was an EOF Counselor, coordinated inmate education services at state and federal prisons, implemented several grants for returning adult populations and developed the Freshman Year Experience Program at Cumberland.  He is an LPC and is current President of the CCC Administrators Association.  A graduate of Cumberland County College and Stockton, his graduate degrees are in Counseling Psychology (Loyola University), Community College Education (VA Tech).

  • Received Volunteer of the Year Award, May 2003, from the Fairton Correctional Institute – Federal Board of Prisons.
  • A Princeton University Mid-Career Fellow, 2000-2001
  • Received Counselor of the Year nomination to the New Jersey Community Counselors Association, 1993.
  • Sabbatical leave recipient Cumberland County College, academic year 1988, 2000.                                                   
  • Presented the Distinguished Service Award by Millville Jaycees, 1986
