This program prepares students for entry-level positions as security officers for private security operations.

Upon completion of this program, student should be able to:
•Discuss the history and philosophy governing Private Security and its relationship to the components of the criminal justice system. •Describe the formal and informal political and community structures that affect criminal justice agencies and private security. •Describe the fundamental concepts and principles of Private Security management.
