Steve Vinter, Google Executive

Steve Vinter joined Google in 2007 and served as Engineering Director and site lead of the Cambridge office until 2016, managing the growth of the site from 40 over 1000 people. His responsibilities included setting strategy for the site's technical direction, and overseeing culture, hiring, community affairs. Managing rapid growth in an office remote from headquarters in a non-hierarchical, fast paced, and technologically diverse organization are distinctive aspects of the Google workplace in Cambridge. Steve has been active in the community at the intersection of technology and education, serving as a founding Board member and Vice President of the Kendall Square Association business group; Overseer at the Museum of Science, Boston; Advisor to MIT's OEOP program to provide under-represented high school students MIT educational opportunities; member of Governor's STEM Advisory Council Executive Committee; and Board member of the Community Charter School of Cambridge. Steve co-founded the MassCAN initiative to drive Massachusetts education change by seeking to offer every K12 student in Massachusetts the opportunity to learn computer science, and is a passionate advocate for improving the way we inspire and educate students. Steve recently became an Executive Coach at Google committed to growing leadership talent at Google.

MICHELLE DROLET, Founder & CEO, Towerwall

Ms. Drolet serves as the chairperson of the Board of Directors. As one of Towerwall’s resident information security experts, Michelle assists organizations through the security process to help them protect critical data by the evaluation, establishment, education and enforcement of sound security information, network security and data security practices. Ms. Drolet is responsible for all aspects of business for Towerwall. She has more than 22 years of network and data security experience. She has leveraged that knowledge to make Towerwall a leading data security service and solution provider. Well respected in the analyst and trade community, Ms. Drolet is often published in national magazines and is a regular contributor to Network World Blog: INFOSEC AT YOUR SERVICE. Ms. Drolet has received citations from Senators for her community service and has received the Cyber Citizenship award several times on behalf of Towerwall for community leadership. She has received the Athena award, the ESL Christine Taylor Award and has been named one of the 10 most powerful women in the channel by VARBusiness magazine.
