Student Reminders

Spring Break begins Monday, March 15th through Sunday, March 21st. No classes are held during this period. College offices and labs will be open as regularly scheduled. The Cumberland Café will be closed for the entire spring break. The Fitness Center will operate on break hour schedules for the week of March 15th. Classes resume on Monday, March 22nd.

Campus parking alerts. Parking on the north end of campus, particularly Lot G, will be limited on Monday and Tuesday, March 8th and 9th, Wednesday evening March 10th, Thursday afternoon March 11th and Wednesday evening March 17th due to events in the Conference Center. Student should allow some extra time for parking and be prepared to utilize other campus parking lots.

Foundation Scholarships. Information and applications for scholarships available thru the College’s Foundation Office can be obtained online. Go to the College’s home page, click on Foundation then click on scholarships, online applications are required and the deadline for applications has been extended to Wednesday, March 10th. The College Foundation provides scholarships for current CCC students who are graduating and attending other colleges, current students continuing at CCC and new students entering the College. Students with questions should contact the Foundation Office in the Administration Building or ext. 209.

The Dukes baseball team home opener (field conditions permitting) is Saturday, March 6th at noon with a double header against Montgomery CC. The Lady Dukes softball team home opener (again, field conditions permitting) is Tuesday, March 9th at 3:00pm with a double header against DelTech. All home games are played on the campus baseball and softball fields. Grab a friend and come out and support our men’s and women’s teams.

Upcoming performances at the Guaracini Arts Center include The Bay-Atlantic Symphony’s “Disguised as a Child” (classical music) on Saturday, March 6th at 8:00 pm. Junie B. Jones (family time series) on Sunday, March 7th at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm and Cherryholmes (bluegrass) on Sunday, March 14th at
