We are excited you chose to attend CCC and are proud of your accomplishments as School Counts scholarship recipients.
Here are a few friendly reminders as you prepare for the 2011-2012 academic year:1. Please be sure to fill out a School Counts! Scholarship Application. You may download a copy by clicking here, or you may fill out a copy in the Foundation Office, located in the Administration Building. 2. Each year, you must apply for financial aid (FAFSA) and complete the entire application process before the start of the fall semester in order for your School Counts! scholarship to activate. To apply online, please visit:
http://www.cccnj.edu/futureStudents/payingForCollege/financialAid/default.aspx or stop at the Financial Aid Office, located in the Student Center for assistance. 3. School Counts! will cover tuition for up to 15 college level credits each semester for two consecutive years. The scholarship does not cover remedial classes. Your tuition will be deferred and applied after you apply for FAFSA and all other scholarships are applied and utilized. 4. When you enroll for classes, you must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit or more) each semester. 5. You must maintain full-time status each semester. 6. You must maintain a grade of C or higher in every class. 7. You are responsible for paying all college fees and book costs on time. If you are taking remedial classes, you are responsible for paying the tuition for those classes.
