Testing

All entering degree-seeking students (and some transfer students with fewer than 9 credits completed) must take the Accuplacer Test to determine college or pre college placement. A completed Cumberland County College Application must be received by Admissions in order to take the placement test. Applications may be completed by visiting http://www.cccnj.edu and clicking on Admissions.

A PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED FOR ALL TESTING.

Accuplacer
Listed below is a schedule of test dates, times and locations for testing. ACCUPLACER is a computerized placement test arranged to assist entering freshmen who plan to register each semester. It is advisable for students to take the test as soon as possible so that their placement information and course recommendations will be available for advisement. Each test begins at the starting time and takes approximately three (3) hours to complete. For free Accuplacer practice tests, please visit www.testpreview.com/accuplacer_practice.htm. For assistance, please contact Melissa Wright, Assistant Director, Testing & Tutoring, at 691-8600 x 1326.

Each student should obtain an Information Bulletin in the CASS Center or the Admissions Office, then drop in for testing at one of the listed times or schedule an appointment to take the test by completing the online form. If you have questions, please call the CASS Center at (856) 691-8600, Ext. 1300.
