Do you need an Educational Coach?

Tutoring in all subjects is offered free of charge to all Cumberland County College students. Our tutors will help you with a particular subject area as well as the following college survival skills: Organizational Skills, Time Management, Notetaking, Reading Comprehension, Study Skills, Test-taking Strategies, and Reducing Test Anxiety. To receive tutoring, visit the CASS Center and see Melissa Wright, Assistant Director of Testing & Tutoring, to complete a tutor request form. If we do not have a tutor available in the subject you need, we will recruit one for you. *All Tutoring takes place in the CASS Center.

 B. Be flexible when scheduling C. Check the tutors' schedules and contact the tutor of your choice

The CASS Center is always recruiting new tutors to meet the needs of our students. As a tutor, you can set your own schedule and work as many hours as you would like, not exceeding 25 per week. You can stop into the CASS Center and ask for an application during normal business hours. To qualify as a tutor, you must:

1. Receive an "A" or high "B" in the class and 2. Have the professor recommend you (have him/her initial your application)
